Accessibility: Why it's vital we build our digital estates like we do our physical ones

When walking through any new-build home in the UK, it will be filled with accessible features that were not present in a 1960s equivalent, from wheelchair-compatible doors to plug sockets placed at the right height from the ground.

With legislation on buildings and accessibility now having been around for 50 years, it has seen many organisations retrofitting for accessibility on a large scale. But when we take a look at digital accessibility, can we say that is it considered in the same way that physical accessibility is?
